I started my beekeeping journey after watching a documentary on how important it was for the environment to look after our bee population. I reached out to my local friends on face book to see if anyone knew of a beekeeper locally who would show me inside a hive just to see if I would like, I struck lucky with a friend I've not seen in a while who lived in the same village,  the moment I stuck my head in a hive of 40,000 bees I knew this was my thing. 

 

I have my bees at home at Willow Cottage, surrounded by an abundance of lavender and is on the edge of Chobham Common Surrey, which is full to bursting of local heather and neighbors beautiful flowers.  

 

I also has some hives at on a farm in Chobham Surrey & at a local stables which faces a tumbling river, rich pickings from hedgerow bracken, flowers & fruits, just recently I set up a hive in a large garden that borders the village both should yield next year.

 

All have a unique taste that most people buy a jar from both!
